Solar Urbana-Champaign 2.0 is a community-wide residential and commercial discount program for solar. Offered by the City of Urbana and the Midwest Renewable Energy Association, home and business owners throughout Champaign County may participate in this program to help pool their buying power to secure significant discounts that make installing solar more affordable than ever.

This week we will be taking a MSTE Friday Lunch field trip to the William M. Staerkel Planetarium at Parkland College! The Planetarium has recently undergone some major upgrades, including installation of the Digistar 4 full-dome system from Evans & Sutherland. On February 25th, MSTE Friday Lunchers will be treated to a special presentation with Dave Leake (of Parkland College) of "Secrets of the Sun" on the full dome.
